    When I last reviewed The Market Tavern over 3 years back it was in my top 4 favourite pubs in Preston and this hasn't changed. The only point to update is that the pub increasingly seems to be closing early or not opening at all on week nights.

    We always visiting The Market Tavern if out for a few festive beers on Christmas Eve but it on Christmas Eve 2014 it closed by 9 PM which was disappointing.

    I appreciate that staff need a holiday also but surely in the pub trade Christmas is a busy time and folk want to come out and enjoy a few festive beers.

    Hopefully the opening times will be made clearer and even better just open till 23:00 every night and perhaps 01:00 on Fridays/Saturdays-I am sure the there will be a lot of custom if this was implemented.
